posting results

ok sorry i'm late in updating again haha. well for those of you who still dont know, i've been posted to CJ. it was my 3rd choice lol. just like for sec sch when maris stella was my 3rd choice..
i'm not the kind that gets easily influenced in a new place so fast. so i wont be going on about how great or how bad it is. in my mind is just the standard answer: it's ok. haha. its not particularly great or bad. so i guess that's ok. though the other people around me seemed very enthu at first. then i realised these people were there for 1st part of the year. so maybe in a month's time i might be quite enthu also haha.
to be honest when i got the posting on tuesday i was kinda shocked and a little disappointed cos i had expected to go to either SA or NY but looks like their cut-off dropped quite a bit. after a while then i realised i was going to be a cj student. so started making plans in my mind. like.. what cca to join, how to go to school everyday, etc.. so was pretty fine after that. actually thought of appealing to either SA or NY but decided against it. so yup, i'll be staying in CJ for the next 2 years.
orientation's been... ok.. i've been more quiet. instead of getting into a groove i've been just sitting back a little, observing how they do stuff around the place. listening to what the principal has to say, trying to get a feel of what i'll be having for the next 2 years. and stuff like that. looks like i actually do that more nowadays instead of talking non-stop (i hope! maybe in PLH still talk alot haha) yup, then making a few friends here and there. my IG is 18 by the way. there are like 22 people inside? so i can't remember who all of them are or what're their names. and IG i guess you just make a few friends? then next week when u get into your confirmed class then can make friends with all of them lor. haha. yup, getting to see different types of people and stuff. guess jc is a good place to learn about life lol.
the orientation games have been pretty ok. first day was more ice-breakerish. 2nd day (yesterday) was like.. dirtier games. both in the cleanliness and er... boy-girl dirty aspect. dont wanna elaborate.. though dodgeball was fun:) guess it was fun for me cos i managed to eliminate 4 out of 10 of the other IG playing with us;)
today went to east coast park for really dirty games!! lucky nothing with the opposite sex. just getting wet and stuff. then came back to cj for the CCA bazaar. went round to look only at er.. 3 things. 1st choice football (trials on monday. looks hard to get in since they're only gonna accept one or two more players) 2nd choice fitness club. (build on your fitness and stuff like that. going to the gym , etc..) 3rd choice guitar ensemble (but more to the classical guitar side. so looks like my fingers will get faster if i join it) yup.. with the rate my sec sch and jc posting results came out, i'll probly get my 3rd choice again hahaha. same goes with my wife. i'll probly marry my 3rd girlfriend (touch wood!! i just wanna have one first and last girlfriend! if possible. ok, enough about this...)
learning the mass dance has been er... argh dancing is NOT my thing!!! like really NOT MY THING!!! i can't dance for nuts. but oh well, since everyone is doing it so i also just follow abit. if given a choice i would rather not have a mass dance. especially since we have to dance with a girl partner. my partner is ok i guess. at least she's not a not enthu person. but i still dont like dancing.. argh.. what am i talking about?? i hate it!!! dancing stinks. to me at least. sorry to all those dancers out there..
already bought my uniform and PE attire since i'm confirmed staying in cj.
what else...
oh ya cos of orientation so have not been able to prepare properly for the PLH games day. but good thing managed to sort most of the things out, so it should be ready to go!:)
oh, subject combination.. well cj doesnt have my preferred combi of H2 math, econs, geog and H1 physics. so had to put 1st choice combi as H2 math, econs and physics with H1 geog. its a science combi but good thing my pts allows me to take science combi anws. 2nd choice combi is H2 math, econs, geog and H1 chem:( 3rd choice combi is H2 math, econs, physics with H1 chem. hopefully i don't get my 3rd choice again!!!! i tell you, if i get my 3rd choice combi, plus 3rd choice cca, plus 3rd choice wife i'm like super unlucky la lol. whole life just get 3rd choice. haha.
but well, God has a plan for everything, so getting into my 3rd choices of maris stella and CJ have been no accidents. also plus holy innnocents pri sch. (i whole life also in catholic schools only lol) so yup, just gotta trust in Him for the next 2 years with whatever cca i join and whatever subject combi i take (plus whatever wife..) and everything else.
well.. guess that's all i can think about to update for now. sorry for the drop in update frequency. will try to er... increase the rate of post production. while balancing my studies, cca and youth comm stuff, etc etc...

Valentines' Day

well well well.. i'm posting for the first time in two weeks! sorry for taking so long but staying at home with no school is kinda boring and as a result, there's not much to post about.
yesterday went to hannah's house to teach her and yiying guitar. i think hannah improved and she probably can play some songs now hahaha.
but the interesting thing to talk about would be today! cos it's...
Valentines' Day!!!!
no, i didn't go out with a girl, like my parents think (HAHA), instead i went out with david and jon!! cos the 3 of us are single guys and have no girl to go out with on valentines' day! lol.. even if we did have some girls in mind to ask out, they are too busy and not free to go out with us. so we have no choice but to meet each other. according to david, we are the true man gang haha. after dinner we played pool at paradiz once again. this time i won the triple threat match 5-1-1. then we decided to play some one-on-ones to decide the champion. before the day started jon was the reigning champion and self-proclaimed "rightful champion". david was in the middle while i was in the last spot.
i lost to david and jon quite a few times at the start due to some unfortunate events, such as hitting the black ball in and it was just the two of them fighting for the championship. after the three of us battled many rounds, david was champion due to his new-found power ;);) jon's new jobless power got him in 2nd while i was still last. so the last match of the day i decided to have one more last chance at the championship and cashed in a pool-a-mania world heavyweight title shot against david. jon decided to give both me and david girl nicknames which will not be put up here LOL. in the end after a tight and grueling match, i managed to beat david and ended my long wait for the title!!:):):) looks like my "power" is greater than his haha. hopefully, liverpool will be able to play like me and end our 18-year long wait for the english title! my play is very tactical and unfortunate, just like liverpool. while david and jon's play are like arsenal, entertaining but also lucky hahahaha. well, what a good way to end valentines' day by becoming the pool champion of the true man gang lol. also, we managed to have more bonding time and i guess valentines' day should be something like that haha.
