yesterday was pretty ok.
we had celebrations for teachers day. the dance and choir were not bad. then they had some performances by some bands. most of it was acoustic performances. only yiying's band had an electric guitar but they didnt even turn on the drive and they had this stupid tom-tom drums instead of a real drum set:( yiying's bass was ok. but the singer went super off and caused the whole thing to crash. haha.
afterwards coach adrian ho met with me, ben and iggy to talk. he said lots of stuff to the 3 of us regarding the training programme after exams and the captaincy. actually what he said was confidential and can't be put up here. haha too bad. but i'll just say that i'm the vice-captain. he explained and told us alot of stuff but bottomline is i'm vice-cap.
later went with YC and cheang back to maris stella to meet renyi and ryan. then we went to see some of our old teachers. like mrs tey, mrs loh, ms goh, ms jazilla, mrs champion, and mr chew. had quite a lot of fun talks with them. mrs tey didnt really say much though. talked quite a bit with ms goh and telling her how i passed h2 physics for mid-year lol. ms jazilla saw me and her eyes went big cos i was her worst student for chem last year. like really really worst. think she couldnt believe i got that b3 haha. she was like saying you got a C6 right? lol. then i told her i dropped chem in jc then she started laughing. actually i was really scared to see her cos i gave her so much trouble last time i wasnt sure what she would say to me lol. turns out she only said nice things. mr chew lye heng was also real funny. i said this year my chinese very bad cos he not teaching my anymore. haha. funny how my chinese teacher is like one of my favourite teachers.
saw mr dennis koh too (discipline master). he talked alot to me and asked me if i was in the soccer team. i said ya and told him i'm vice-cap and he was like congratulating me and said "so looks like next year the vice-captain of CJ soccer is going to bring them back to the glory days" haha.. talked quite a bit too.
after seeing all our teachers we went to cheang's house to watch "nacho libre" and jam. afterwards went for dbs.
yup that was my day ysd in short. time to do some work now.

yohoho and a bottla rum!
wow today was quite a funny day.
first in the morning i went to yiying's class to help her tune the bass guitar she borrowed from ben cos her class is performing for teachers' day. then i taught her how to play the song they are gonna perform. ("that thing you do" by the wonders)
i was suddenly doing some last minute thinking of auditioning for teachers' day with an acoustic performance but looks like the auditions have closed anyway haha.
then we had SD (student development, which is something like civics and moral education) and mr rajoo taught us about anger management. lol. quite funny and i guess it's a little bit helpful. though i think everyone has their own ways of dealing with anger and frustration. i dunno whether mine are good or not.
after SD was econs tutorial, break, physics lecture, and then chinese. i slept the whole two hours of chinese!! o.O cos just before the lao shi came in then i slept. the next thing i knew, mr rajoo shouted "I-Zack!! wake up!!!" then i awoke with a jump and looked sleepily at him and asked "what period is it now?" then he said "PW, what did u think?" haha... then gary said "whoa you sleep until your hair messed up all!" then i found out from my friends that the chinese teacher couldnt wake me up the whole 2 hrs haha.. first time she tried to wake me up i said "lao shi i donate blood, too tired already." the second time apparently she called me then i sat up with my eyes closed, looked around, and slept again. O.o wow. no idea. i dont even rmb really seeing my chinese teacher today. my pillow too nice already haha! oh ya i brought a pillow to school to use for my back. haha! it's a good rest for my back. the chair quite hard la. oh ya and sometimes i use it to sleep on. cos the table too hard for my face. lol.
ok then we had PE and stuff like that. and now i'm home.

blood donation!
wow today our school had this blood donation drive and football team supposed to donate together haha. it was quite ok. first go in there then like quite blur and not sure what to do. then must sign form and everything. anws, it wasnt really pain. first they prick ur finger and test it for iron or something. they suddenly prick it and at first u dont feel anything but after awhile then wow! it hurts! haha..
ok then u go to the chair and sit down and get ready. soon a nurse comes to u and gives u an injection which really is very pain!!! its supposed to numb the pain later when they take ur blood. and the needle which they use to take ur blood is really BIG!! like wow. i accidentally looked and it and got horrified. its really SUPER BIG and u will be like omg nuts is that crazy thing beneath my skin and intruding into my blood vessel now?? o.O lucky that one not pain haha..
ok anws it wasnt that bad. there was free food and drinks and everything and u get a certificate. then u get a bandage on ur arm. mine is pink lol..
well i wonder which lucky fellow is gonna get my blood and have some of my The Man powers transferred to him. haha some of the guys in class were joking that whoever gets my blood will turn into the incredible hulk cos too much radioactive substance. and dunno what, I-Zack's The Man blood too powerful already. lol. hmm this The Man thing which started of as a passing comment has become into some trademark thing already haha.
which reminds me that some of the class guys also said that time i should join olympics. LOL. then i said ya as if i can qualify, anws spore got enough good ppl can win some medals. now only got one silver... then they started blaming me (jokingly of course) that why i never join, now spore losing. and weijie said nvm even if i join i represent myself and not spore cos the medal tally will show my name at the top above china and usa instead of spore hahaha. crazy guys xD
well i just realised the prelims are approaching in 6weeks and i'm like blur about everything cos i've forgotten everything after mid-years. that kinda happens after i take a paper. everything i learn goes out the door and have to relearn from scratch. which is why i dont believe in studying throughout the year. cos if i study throughout the year and take all the tests i still forget them anyways. this only happens for studying but not for other things. haha. i got good selective memory.. and mr rajoo gave our class a good talk yesterday which made me think abit. so i will come up with a study timetable by this week and start by next week!! haha.. confirm one..
and to those people who have some misconsceptions of our family, e-sean is the hardworking one and i am the lazy one. e-sean studies alot! so give her some credit! i'm the lazy bum out of all the 3 siblings:p

wahaha
i'm finally back from grandma's house! it was a pretty fun time:) quite cool to be moving to a new environment for a while. and it's much easier to go school from there too. it's like 30min only. from my own home it's 1hour:( and the bus stop is like only 2min walk away.
gramma made sure we woke up every morning for Quiet Time and breakfast and so i wasn't late for school too. but every night we also had to sleep early haha.
anws, the youth comm meeting-outing on saturday was fun!:)
i ran 10km in the morning even though i had this like crazy pain at one of my gut muscle place things... after the run my legs and everything were all not tired at all but only had this really bad pain at the gut. hope it's nothing serious... i'm having a rest from running til thursday anyway so should be able to recover.
anws we met at 4.30pm at kovan mrt. grace, hannah, weng shian, and athelia didnt come. so only had me, yiying, yiren, weile, tim, angie were there. sam didnt come for bowling but joined us later for dinner. it's the first time we've ever met to do something outside of planning for PLH activities, so it was a good relaxing time:) the bowling lanes were closed at first so we decided to have our meeting at KFC to discuss abt upcoming PLH stuff.
at abt 5plus then we went to bowl. the first game i was top scorer, then second game we decided to play me, tim and weile vs yiying, yiren and angie. (based on the first game scores) in the end they won 222-211.. by 11pts only haha. i think yiren won the game for them with his score. second game i also deproved. while angie improved from last to even more points than weile and tim LOL. then we went to have dinner at KFC.
down there we witnessed the joke of the day:
we were talking about weights ok. (in KFC mah..)
Tim said something about being very light, so i said
"nvm lah. u still 14 right? got alot of time to grow."
Tim: "eh what? i'm losing weight every year leh."
me: "that's a scary thought... how heavy were you when you were a baby??"
haha!! yiying started laughing like crazy til her face was red and she couldnt talk properly lol. after all these years, this is the first time i see her laugh like that haha!
then we went to yiying's house and slacked and played some guitar in the function room. her electric guitar has not been used for so long that the guitar and the amplifier box had baby cockroaches inside!! o.O??? crazy.. i can't believe such a good guitar has gone to waste.. it just pained my heart when i saw it on saturday...
anws we went up to the house at 11pm and watched some stupid chinese show thing.. then it was lights off by 12am. then i told weile about some life stuff. tim was listening too haha. all the stuff i told weile was important for guys to know so i hope he and tim take what i said to mind. cos i was talking from experience ah.. so warning them before it's too late haha..
ok then next morning we woke up early and did Quiet Time and then had a macdonald breakfast. reached church in time for 8.45 service.
yes, that's our fun youth comm day. and it was not gay or boring, unlike what david thought it was lol..
i haven't really been watching the olympics. for reasons such as i'm not very interested and singapore also not in many competitions. also since i don't really have the time cos i'm out of the house quite often having school and football trainings. the football is also quite boring. good thing EPL has started again and liverpool won our season opener away to sunderland:) torres again, unsurprisingly. the liverpool website said that in rafa's 5yrs in charge so far we have not started the season at anfield, so it's pretty unfair. but nvm, at least the first 3pts are in the bag:)

happy national day one and all
yay 43 years already...
ok now let's talk about the celebrations.
yesterday i woke up at 4.30am, did my Quiet Time, then went to serangoon stadium to run 9km at 5am. clocked 47:25. bleagh... i think that's still not up to standard. i want to reach 5min per km. then went back home to take a bath, then went to school at 6.25am. we walked to CCAB to have our celebrations there. but i slept while they were having all the songs and stuff. then i woke up when we had to do the 3 dances but i stood still anyways. until the last dance where we do the CJ mass dance and i partnered wei jie so he spun me around like crazy til i was left sprawling on the floor when the dance was over and not able to get up cos i was too dizzy lol. super fun:)
then met ryan and renyi at j8 subway for lunch and talked. cheang came later with his friends.. then i went to the library with the NY boys. they did some studying while i did some big business in the toilet. then we went to long john silvers later cos ryan needed to eat an early dinner before going for church. then cheang met us again. ryan went to church, so me, cheang and renyi went around looking for a gift that renyi wanted to buy for his friend.
afterwards the two of them went off and i met yiying for dinner. she ate LJS first, when she finished eating we went to S11 foodcourt for MY dinner. haha. cos i want cheaper food:p
we left for church at 6.45pm. it's the first time i've gone for DBS. it was really good! i think uncle alex can teach very well. and we didnt stick that close to the book but discussed more relevant questions which is the best:) i dont like sticking to the book. it's not relevant enough sometimes. from now on i will go for DBS if i can. cos usually fridays i have football and it ends quite late. and the last 4years of sec sch my NCC was always only on fridays and ended close to 8pm that's why i couldnt go for DBS for 4 years. haha.
tmr after church gonna stay at gramma's house for 10days cos mum and dad are going away. i think there's not really a computer there so i won't be able to use the internet for awhile. quite troublesome. i needa pack a lot of clothes. cos everyday i need to wear uniform and pe shirt. most people only need to wear pe shirt twice a week for pe, but i got football trainings on wednesday and fri, plus need to go gym on tue, wed, thur, and run on thursday and saturday. then also need to pack for sunday's clothes, etc etc.. and my boots and shinpads and jerseys and everything. not to mention my bible, QT material, and school books, etc.. etc.. wow that's alot..

ok now let's talk about the celebrations.
yesterday i woke up at 4.30am, did my Quiet Time, then went to serangoon stadium to run 9km at 5am. clocked 47:25. bleagh... i think that's still not up to standard. i want to reach 5min per km. then went back home to take a bath, then went to school at 6.25am. we walked to CCAB to have our celebrations there. but i slept while they were having all the songs and stuff. then i woke up when we had to do the 3 dances but i stood still anyways. until the last dance where we do the CJ mass dance and i partnered wei jie so he spun me around like crazy til i was left sprawling on the floor when the dance was over and not able to get up cos i was too dizzy lol. super fun:)
then met ryan and renyi at j8 subway for lunch and talked. cheang came later with his friends.. then i went to the library with the NY boys. they did some studying while i did some big business in the toilet. then we went to long john silvers later cos ryan needed to eat an early dinner before going for church. then cheang met us again. ryan went to church, so me, cheang and renyi went around looking for a gift that renyi wanted to buy for his friend.
afterwards the two of them went off and i met yiying for dinner. she ate LJS first, when she finished eating we went to S11 foodcourt for MY dinner. haha. cos i want cheaper food:p
we left for church at 6.45pm. it's the first time i've gone for DBS. it was really good! i think uncle alex can teach very well. and we didnt stick that close to the book but discussed more relevant questions which is the best:) i dont like sticking to the book. it's not relevant enough sometimes. from now on i will go for DBS if i can. cos usually fridays i have football and it ends quite late. and the last 4years of sec sch my NCC was always only on fridays and ended close to 8pm that's why i couldnt go for DBS for 4 years. haha.
tmr after church gonna stay at gramma's house for 10days cos mum and dad are going away. i think there's not really a computer there so i won't be able to use the internet for awhile. quite troublesome. i needa pack a lot of clothes. cos everyday i need to wear uniform and pe shirt. most people only need to wear pe shirt twice a week for pe, but i got football trainings on wednesday and fri, plus need to go gym on tue, wed, thur, and run on thursday and saturday. then also need to pack for sunday's clothes, etc etc.. and my boots and shinpads and jerseys and everything. not to mention my bible, QT material, and school books, etc.. etc.. wow that's alot..

some random stuff
hohoho! sunday we had PLH extended fellowship time. had to go for mission trip meeting first, then when we came down for august rush i went to play abit of instruments. teach a bit of guitar and drums.. then went outside and played a bit of werewolf too. ate alot of potato chips as well haha:)
i think i can feel myself gaining abit of muscle. football training programme has given me the inspiration to go to the gym, run, and eat to add some meat to these bones of mine. i guess i'm still really scrawny-looking but i'm sure i'm a bit stronger. faster probably. and well well, i look better in the school mirror too haha! (my house toilet mirror abit too small to see the full body) i just hope the gymming doesn't stunt my growth!!! i have a feeling it will.. i'm now like 173.5cm o.O i thought i was 175. i wanna reach at least 180:( my weight now is 56kg. i think that's ok. maybe 58-60 by the end of the year would be good. i'm just scared if i'm heavier i won't be able to run as fast and my pull-ups might be less. ah well, see how it goes. appetite is growing too. need to manage my allowance well haha. if not i'll run out of money in no time. stupid inflation. even school food is kinda expensive.
oh ya my topper street soccer shoes has become too small to wear and my lotto ones have spoilt. so dad gave me a budget of $50 to buy a new pair of street soccer shoes. went to kovan heartland mall today and bought a kronos pair for $36.90. haha. so now i have 3 pairs of white shoes for school. one is a nike running shoes, only for days which i run. one is the $15 trail pair which looks like converse, which i only wear on days which i dont need to do any running or physical activity. and the last one is the one i bought just now, for days which have physical activity like PE, but no long distance running.
i also have the Lum 10 adidas black and red street soccer pair which the girls in church don't believe it's selling in some adidas stores. u guys probably can't find it in the stores cos people all buy until sold out already haha!
ok that's about all for now i guess..

travel journeys
woahoho! it's been an interesting last few days.
well, actually yesterday and today. yesterday we had the J2 testimonial match which the J1s beat J2s 6-3. lol. think cos they lack match fitness. i scored two. one was a penalty and the other was a nice lob over the on-rushing keeper. justin, aaron, brandon and kesavan got one each. for the J2s, nick, stef, and xavier got one each too.
then we went to iggy's house for the bbq. ended up playing street soccer at the side haha. and andrew got voted as our player of the season. i voted for jordan.
today had band prac which took much longer than usual for me. my pracs usually can end at 12.30 but today end at 1.45. think cos got some new songs then the band had to practice more.
then me, david and jon went to walk on our "travel journey" lol. our initial target was botanic gardens, so we set of for it at 2pm. we walked to orchard there and couldnt find the burger king (cos david had coupons) so we had to eat at a food court instead. then we continued on after lunch at abt 3.30pm. in the end we reached botanic gardens i think about 4plus. we didnt want to spend our money so we kept drinking from watercoolers haha! i was quite tempted to buy a soft drink but luckily could resist. then we sat down in the botanic gardens for a while and talked alot wahaha. after a while since we had some time we decided to press on to NJC. so we reached there about 6.15 and i had to rush home for dinner. haha what a fun outing. but maybe no more until exams are over.
i think one of the days during the year-end holidays me and the twins will have another travel journey and this time we will travel overnight haha! if got people's house to stay then we'll stay there. if not maybe we sleep at a void deck. then walk to church the next morning. i think our rule is kinda like cannot take transport. and must spend as little money as possible lol.
okay the liverpool vs rangers friendly is gonna start.
