the kop comes to asia 09

wow.. it's been a really cool last 3 days. still trying to take it all in.. haha.
went to cycle and play football after school on friday. really fun!!(: i think $5 for 2 hours on a bike is like quite cheap right? not bad la. haven't cycled at all since last year december.
then saturday was the liverpool singapore river boat ride! went with e-sean to see them at clarke quay. super cool. kept taking photos and videos. i got a few waves too! like from rafa and sammy lee. i shouted the most at alonso. trying to get him to stay haha. then the whole crowd was like running all around the river following the boat! o.O all mad. e-sean and i included. haha! followed it around for one hour. and it was so noisy cos everyone kept shouting. then the last part was quite cool cos we did lots of chants and songs. torres was obviously the fans' main focus cos gerrard wasn't able to make it to singapore. i think kuyt and reina were the most friendly ones cos they kept waving and smiling to the fans. sammy lee too. and i think rafa really loves the fans. great manager. i think some of the players may have been a bit sian cos they probably get this everywhere they go. haha. but only liverpool then the fans will get so hyped up la.
then yesterday went to watch them play against the singapore team at national stadium. uncle gary got us tickets for the north end. so we didn't have very good seats. but it wasn't too bad lah. the atmosphere was quite nice. but i wish we had sat at the east or west ends. cos the places where we sat had lotsa stupid quiet fans. so lousy.. oh ya before the game started there was like one guy wearing a man utd shirt then everyone started booing him and chanted "MAN U SUCKS! MAN U SUCKS!" LOL! super funny. and the whole stadium was red!! but cos of liverpool, not singapore LOL. today's papers said that some of the singapore players were disappointed that we didn't cheer for them more. haha! who cares about them now that liverpool are in town!! wait for tiger cup or something then cheer for them la LOL. the crowd cheered the most for torres and alonso. i was really pleased that kuyt got the captain's armband when carragher got taken off(: yeah good on ya dirk!! one of my favourite players. i chanted for alonso the most. another one of my favourite players(: hope he stays.. if he or mascherano leave then next year's title challenge will be quite hampered. without the two of them gerrard won't be as effective. we'll really need alonso's control of the game plus masch's breaking down of opponent's attacks.. so it was nice that the crowd did super lot of xabi alonso! chants. i was quite impressed that they at least had the common sense to cheer for him the most. though i can't say the same for mascherano. but maybe his name is just too long to chant haha! nemeth got the 3rd and 5th goals. not a bad finsher by the looks of it. if he's as good as they think he's gonna be, then in a few years to come when gerrard retires we could have a torres-nemeth strikeforce which is gonna be really exciting. when torres scored the 4th goal the whole stadium went crazy! haha. even more crazy when they subbed him and alonso on. and that is REALLY crazy. lol. kuyt created the last 3 goals. looks like he's in good form coming to the start of the season(: whoa but looking at the 5-0 scoreline, either singapore is really lousy or liverpool is really strong.. i think cos liverpool is really strong la. haha!
well, it was a good experience(: everything was pretty sweet. the only little blip is that gerrard wasn't here. and the next time they come to singapore i'll get the best tickets and arrive at the stadium 3hrs before kickoff haha! oh and maybe bring a scarf to hold up while singing you'll never walk alone.
oh ya i didn't go school today so i'm staying at home. gonna watch the replay of last night's match plus try to get some work done. haha.

latest transfer news is that michael owen has signed for man utd.
i better not say too much cos this blog is open to the public...
no brains. no loyalty.
i hope he never wins anything there and his career goes even more downhill than it already has after he left liverpool.
i regret idolising him as a boy.

anyways my pokemon are trashing everyone in sight haha! but after 7 badges i realised for the last badge and the elite four i only need blastoise, kadabra, and dugtrio. so i'm using this 3 more to make them level up faster. then i put a dragonite in the team just for the fun of it. with raticate, fearow and victreebel rotating with other strong pokemon like rhydon, rapidash, kabutops, etc.. depending on what opposition i'm up against. of course i used the rare candy code to speed up evolution. haha!

yesterday was CL'B' midyear paper. quite easy haha! then after that i went to gary's house with steven to play PS. haha! super fun.
then in the evening i went back to serangoon north to see my old house:) good times..

yeah! mid-years are over!! whoohoo! and now i've got a 5-day holiday til school starts again next tuesday!
oh wait. i almost forgot i have CL'B' paper tmr.. HAHA.

anyways, i decided to start a new pokemon game on my gameboy colour! haha! blue version! yeah all the old school stuff man. now already got 3 badges. and my pokemon team is wartortle, raticate, kadabra, weepinbell, dugtrio, and fearow. don't ask me why i got this pokemon. just caught everything that i saw on the way. lol. wartortle gonna evolve to blastoise quite soon also. by today should evolve after i play somemore later. haha!
hmm.. anyways that's about it.. new pokemon game and mid-years over.. yup.
liverpool have bought glen johnson. that's all the transfer news so far. hope they don't sell alonso or mascherano man!!
yesterday after maths mid-year paper we went to gary's house to play guitar hero and smackdown vs raw 2008. lol. super fun.
