sub-pass: definitely the best invention ever.

yeah baby!!! i sub-passed maths!!! LOL.
with 70% of the level getting Us, looks like i really pulled it off somehow. hahaha.
and i got it on the dot. in fact, it was the closest shave ever. i actually got a 39.5 but teacher say half mark round up to 40. haha!!
so now i have EESSUU. if this was the promos then i can promote to J2:)
wow what a roller coaster ride. when teacher came in today she said our class got 4 people passed, 4 people sub-passed. then she gave out in order of marks. then after 7 people already, i was thinking like: crap!! last person who kana sub-pass! then i said "teacher! call i-zack! call i-zack!" then she said "i-zack". o.O!!!! like, WHOOOO!!! hahaha! then i get back i see 39.5 then i was like, what??? half more mark???? then she said half mark round up to 40. hahaha!!! yeah.. some people might argue that i actually failed with the half mark, but a true striker doesn't care how he scores his goals, he just scores as many as possible. and THAT'S A GOAL! cleared off the line by william gallas but the linesman said goal by luis garcia, and that's how you get into the champions league final! lol.
well, mum and dad might not agree:p
anws, i just realised that this year has been the first time in 13years that i'm not having trouble with my teachers. in fact, i have quite a good relationship with all of them. haha. let's see..
nursery and kindergarten i remember causing lots of pain for my teachers cos i would run around, beat up other kids..
pri 1 in kuo chuan: mdm kaur was calling my mum up on regular nights cause i walked about class during lessons and disturbed my classmates..
pri 2-6 was recking havoc in holy innocents' and every teacher knowing who i was, partly cos of my grandaunt being a relief teacher there.. mr teo the discipline master talked to me on a weekly basis in the HOD office.. i was a regular sight in the staffroom and some teachers even talked to me while i was in there. i think i could remember where every teacher sat la lol..
sec 1-4 giving the marist teachers nightmares with my work and behaviour. mr dennis koh the discipline master, another good friend of mine..
but this year like nothing since the first few weeks of school leh.. haha. i sleep during lectures, that's all. i did a calculation, and found out i sleep in 2/3 of the lectures and only been caught once by the lecturer (it was a maths lecture). but somehow i can still take down the notes and everything. either wake up and copy what's on the screen, then sleep when the lecturer starts talking. or copy after lecture from friends. i find the first option better:)
other than that, no behavioural problems. haha. comes with growing up i guess. oh, i sleep in class sometimes. but less now. i think mr rajoo will gladly tell my parents at parent-teacher meeting next saturday that i sleep the most in our class. my classmates always comment on me sleeping too. lol. "sleeping king", "pig", etc.. haha. somehow still can pass midyears..
relationship with teachers is good:) mr rajoo is like nice to all of us la.. hmm...
maths teacher got no problems. i do her tutorials and got the sub-pass haha;)
econs: was friendly with ms sng, but i think we're changing teacher. she got good impression of me in her first lesson lol.
geog: ok this one average. always harping at me to work harder. other than that nothing much.
gp: had good relationship with ms chua. but now she's gone, so mr holden has come in. i've been a good boy so far:) haha:p
chinese!:) : wo he lao shi si hao pen you. ta zhi si mei chi jiao wo yao duo yong gong. (i am good friends with teacher. she just asks me to work harder everytime.)
PE: yes! my favourite! mr new likes me alot cos i'm a good pe rep. the other day he also said to me i'm the model student in our class for pe. LOL!:D
football: yup i've got a good relationship with coach adrian ho. i think he likes my attitude and hard work. plus 5 goals in the last 2 trainings should have helped to show him what i can do infront of goal;)

today woke up at 5am, did QT, then went to school at 5.45. the bike was ok today:) cycle to the bus stop and lock it there. was in school by 6.30. started my 5km run at 645. took a shower, then went for assembly. class from 8-1pm. whoohoo good day. QT in the morning is the most important. get started.
later must do more work. or maybe i can use the weekend..

i feel compelled to help those less fortunate than me. people who might not have passed even though they worked hard. or people who didn't pass after doing last minute work.
so that's why i have come up with the "Lum I-Zack's Study Tips: How To Pass Like The Man".

disclaimer: this study tips have been found to reap results for the author. however they may not suit every individual. if in the event you find you are still not passing, a different approach is recommended.

warning!: these tips are not designed to achieve As. they are for the sole purpose of scraping a pass. for major exams like the O'levels, you may refer to "Lum I-Zack's Study Tips: How To Jump From 32 To 12 In A Major Exam" which is not out in stores yet.

Lum I-Zack's Study Tips: How To Pass Like The Man:

study tip #1: last minute work is STILL work.
#2: there is ALWAYS time, right up until you enter the exam hall.
3: if you have studied, then be scared, cos your hardwork might have been useless if you fail.
4: if you haven't studied, don't be afraid! a pass is a bonus! you have nothing to lose.
5: befriend the hardworking people, borrow their notes! get them to teach you whatever you missed in class. if you're really lazy, get them to do your work for you. (a high EQ will be really helpful for this)
6: grab whatever you can, whenever you can.
7: if you only understand ONE thing from the lecture, hey, at least you learnt something!
8: STUDYING SMART the night before your paper definitely works!
9: just copy down whatever is on the screen even if you don't understand it. you can always understand it the night before the paper.
10: if you need to pass 4, focus on 4 and forget the other 3!

yeah well, 10 is good for now. the rest is still a work in progress. haha! all the best in scraping that pass!!
remember, anyone can pass!
