post-war analysis

yeah my promos are finally over!! hahaha...
but still got PW oral presentation and chinese A-levels coming up anyway lah.
well here's my evaluation of promos:
bear in mind mid-year exams already contains 20% of the marks.
GP (midyr D) - wrote the compo pretty ok i think. chose the topic on sports which i was familiar with so i think should be ok. not much to say about the compre. aim: to get same as mid year. D
geog (midyr U) - didn't study much cos was focusing on H2 subjects. expected: U
chinese (midyr U) - expected: U
physics (midyr E) - not very confident for this one. studied quite a bit but the questions were kinda confusing. aim: to get at least 30-something% and get pulled up by the midyr E to get S.
econs (midyr S) - i'm quite confident for econs. wrote the essays which i knew about and the paper format also quite easy. aim: overall E
maths (midyr S) - thought it would be easy but turns out the questions were tougher than expected. about 30marks gone already by leaving the questions blank. hopefully those i did will be enough to score me 40%. aim: same as midyr. S
yup so with a DESS i will be promoted to J2 next year. pls pray for me!:)
yesterday was a fun day with CRYSIz. renyi came my house at 10am and we played some songs on the guitar. now one of my songs is stuck in his head haha! it's called "don't know". it's like a more different song from my other ones. like diverting away from rock all the time and this one is a total acoustic thing. it's not a love song but it's sounds a bit romantic haha. renyi kept singing it afterwards. it's totally stuck in his head. that's gotta be a good thing cos only nice songs get stuck in your head haha. it was some interesting inspiration for that song actually.
anws we went to cheang's house at 12plus and jammed there with cheang and YC. i guess we're kinda better now than we were 2 years ago but to me it's not moving as fast as i would have liked. i guess it's cos we're not full-time and have to focus on studies. and we don't have the resources, time, or money to record a full album. and also we are in need of a really good singer. oh well. that's for another time.
we met ryan at vivo at 5plus. caught the 6pm eagle eye show. WARNING! do not read the next paragraph unless you don't mind some spoilers for the show!!
haha. well i think it's quite ok lah. but not say very fantastic or what. the fact that the computer was super smart and got out of control and caused everything is a spoiler. shia leboeuf was the main actor. yeah he's a good actor man, since his nickelodeon days haha. as a kid watching him doing stupid stuff on shows like er.. ok i forgot his show titles, but they were funny. i think at the first part when his brother died and he was kneeling at the coffin and crying was super touching. really felt the sadness there. his crying was that good hahaha.. and he's got a cool moustache-beard-sideburn thing in the show!:)
after the show we hanged out for awhile then took the train home. yup, days with CRYSIz are always fun days:)
today decided to get back to training. after 5 weeks of no real exercise i was hoping for too much lah. i initially wanted to run 16km LOL.. in the end after 4km i was dying! so i stopped after 4km and went to try some pull-ups. could do 12. after 6 weeks of no weights i think it's not too bad lah.. then i tried a 100m sprint and clocked 14secs. that stinks but considering i was quite tired i'll let it pass.
yes now the holidays are here i feel like it's time to not study! dunno why just now i suddenly thought to myself "eh must study!" then i remembered the promos are over lol. was quite shocked with myself.
yup that's all folks.
