zack is back

yeah i'm back from my holiday!
my family went to kota kinabalu, which is in west malaysia. so we had to take a plane there.
it was pretty fun. got to relax properly.
we went shopping quite a lot. i bought 5 new shirts. 3 is for me to wear. one is for me to give away and one is for me to use as a doormat! hahaha!
we also watched bolt there. the total cost for the 5 of us in singapore dollars was $12! hahaha!! so guys, if u wanna watch cheap movies, go to m'sia! haha. bolt is a nice show btw. quite cool:)

yesterday was also esther's surprise birthday party. it was quite fun. she was really surprised.

well, planning for the PLH christmas retreat is on the way. lots of stuff to do this week. actually our youth comm this year has been operated very much on the basis of efficiency. reasonable results with less effort. haha. very much the way i survive in school. some people call it studying smart. i call it genius. haha just kidding:p

the Hastily Assembled Returns concert was good:)
started with a bang with my songs "eliminated". then "recess" which didn't sound as cool without a lead guitar.
then i went to the drums after playing the guitar.
"lady luck" by YC which some people said was nice.
"get loud" by renyi and "what about now" (daughtry).
then some chinese song which cheang sang.
afterwards was the solo performances.
renyi's one was good. YC's one was good.
"thunder" duet by cheang and renyi not so good. haha:p
then my solo. "don't know". that's the only song i was nervous about playing. but well i guess it turned out ok.
after that was the break where we celebrated cheang's birthday and gave him a taupok.
break over and it was "the moment..." by cheang.
"facade" and "don't call the cops..." by YC.
"baby you don't know what you do to me" by cheang. which i absolutely love playing drums for! actually i like playing drums for alot of our songs. like "facade" and "the moment..." haha.
then i went back to leading my songs for the last two. "crushes of a primary school boy" and ending with "you're no murderer, but you killed me inside".
then there were calls for an encore of my solo song "don't know". so i played it again. i didn't know so many people will like it haha. now it's stuck in some people like renyi's heads and people like M ask me to play it for them again. haha. i should write more songs like that. or maybe people just like acoustic songs. cos some of my acoustic versions of my rock songs are nice too. but these kinda songs need inspiration lah.. yay i like that song:):)
i liked the way we started with "eliminated". sounded so cool! lol.. to me at least..
"recess" needs lead guitar lah.. if not it doesn't sound as nice.

anws, videos better be up soon guys!!! can't wait to see the replay of the whole thing. haha...
we can have another gig next year after a-levels. lol.

yeah anws, that's about it. PLH christmas retreat this friday!! NO HOLDS BARRED!
