almost there...

haha.. i've decided to do away with the emo post. lol.. cos after today's emaths pp2 i felt much better. the paper was quite easy i think.
was initially quite down yesterday cos my emaths pp1 got one stupid question which i couldnt do but after the paper i realised how easy it was..-.- then now my full marks gone..
english was quite ok i think. should be able to get an A.. hopefully A1.
starting to feel the stress now that we're already more than a week into the O's.
i've also not been able to study properly and that really has made me very very frustrated!!!! and i've not been able to study properly cos all the air-cons in my house have broke down except for the one in the study room and now my whole family has to camp there every night. so i've got no conducive environment to study. cos i need to study in my own room with air-con to get maximum study yield. lol. altho i DO get distracted alot in my room.. and cos i do work in the study room now, my parents are there to make sure i don't slack.. but it still ticks me off real badly!!!!!!
what's worse.. my electric guitar is still spoilt and my mini-football has no more air!!!! arrrghhh!!! so i can't destress or relax properly!! cos i destress either by playing guitar or football.. why am i looking so relaxed and happy all the time? cos i've destressed by playing football and the guitar!!! and when i can't do those two things i cant destress properly!!!! so either i kick about some flat ball or go play my dad's acoustic guitar which doesnt help to destress at all cos it has no distortion and i can't play any rock music or any gut-busting guitar solos!!!!!!! rrrraaahhhh..... dang it...
then there's that thing that happened on sunday night which i dun wanna talk abt. altho i feel better now after talking to joe abt it. thx mate..
and then liverpool drew 1-1 with arsenal too.. sian lah... altho i do concede arsenal were the better team in terms of passing and movement, i felt we had more chances to win the game and defended really well. somemore we were unfairly dealt with injuries to 3 of our best players, torres, alonso & mascherano.. then arsenal got some eboue and adebayor who act real pro like they got mauled by carragher or someth. once again during a game we got to see some whiny attitude by the arsenal players. thats one of the things i dislike most abt arsenal. bunch of whiners. crowd around the ref and start crying abt some freekick or what. i apologise to all arsenal fans who read this. but hey. at least take comfort that i will always hate everton and man utd more than u guys. haha. well.. all in all i guess the draw was a fair result. altho in terms of effort i think we deserved to win more. the liverpool players were working their socks off there. and we're still 6pts behind.. but there's still a long way to go to the end of the season..
whoa actually i didnt want to do such an emo post but looks like i kinda did one in the end haha.. being emo is not good.. must always be confident and positive! haha. well.. at least i feel better now after a good rant:) ranting always helps. altho i always tend to hold everything up to a certain point before i let it all out in the form of a temper or emo-ness or a good long wordy healthy rant. or sometimes go play football and trash some ppl. then i'll feel better too haha.. sometimes writing a song helps too.
oh well whatever it is.. gotta get back to work after lunch. physics is on friday.. needa score an A for it too.. somemore on my birthday if dun do well then such a waste haha.

its the weekend baby! haha.. actually nothing much to post abt.. just that i'm real bored and waiting for dinner haha..
monday is gonna be hectic, but so far i guess i'm on track for my revision.. today did emaths 04 paper 1 (74/80) and emaths 05 paper 1 (73/80). i guess thats not bad.. considering i did the 2004 one in 1hr 3min and the 2005 one in 46min.. after dinner gonna do an english paper.. then 10pm watch football (man utd vs boro & chelsea vs man city).. then 12am do emaths 04 paper 2.. should be able to sleep by 2am..
yup.. so far so good for the O's.. can't wait for monday and tuesday.. wanna take on english and emaths asap. and then get on to physics..
which reminds me, i'm 6 days away from being 16yrs old, 9 days away from being free of my major papers, and 17 days away from having total freedom. yeah, that's good, yeah..
man i can't stand it.. the liverpool vs arsenal game is sunday night 12am! sian.. my parents aint gonna allow me to watch it.. but i will have to try somehow.. a match of this significance cannot be missed. we have to win. simply for the fact arsenal are one of the challengers in the title race this season and we're already 6pts behind. but i believe we can do it at Anfield.. pray my parents will reconsider. i mean, even if i don't watch it at the tv, i'll be waiting til the final score anws just to see if we won. so there's no difference with the time i will sleep. and i won't be studying even if i don't watch. i'll just be too nervous waiting for some sms update from joe or whatever.. haha..
well.. gotta have dinner.. revision continues tonight! whoo!!!:)

argh! there'd be no paper today! so i'll be taking a little break til monday... and yer can bet yer baby's bottom i'll be much obliged to take any break given me! argh! so there!

ok.. yesterday's geog paper was pretty ok for me. especially cos i studied agriculture and tourism (qns 2 & 4) so those were quite ok. textbook stuff. haha. not sure for those who did industry and development. heard those qns were tough. sometimes, risks and choices have to be made, and its either make or break, so i guess i got lucky haha.. anws.. its a big relief and morale booster for me. cos i was most afraid for geog.. but still have a SS paper coming up. so have to do well for that too.. well.. that's the politically correct thing to say anws:D actually almost everything i put up on this blog is politically correct haha.. must be like rafa benitez!! lol..
well, gotta prepare well for emaths and english on monday. its gonna be 3 papers at a go.. so must be mentally prepared. not to mention, physically prepared as well! (ur writing hand) (gotta go do some weights! HAHA xD) somemore i'm banking on these two subjects to get A1s too.. so gotta be really prepared..
so i did two emaths papers today. 02 paper 1 not very good.. 64% o.O but that one alot of careless mistakes. cos i did the paper in less than an hour (allotted time for the actual exam is 2hrs) haha.. so the 1hour that i had to check i'm pretty sure i would have spotted them.. 03 paper 1 got 85%. thats still not good enough for an A1... but well.. i'm on the right track for my paper 1 i guess.. later today will do the paper2s for 02 and 03.
have to prepare for english somehow too.. guess i'll just practice a bit of compre and summary, read thru my past essays, and memorize the formats for whatever letter-writing questions may come out. yeah, that's good, yeah..
actually o-levels has been a good learning process for me. in more ways than one.. maybe its taught me how to strategize. also to be more aware of whats required of me, trusting in God too, etc etc.. hard to explain but, u know what i mean.. it's been good.. but can't really say too much.. it's not over yet, by any means..
whoa yesterday also e-rae's bday party. so mum and dad's BS group came. i would have liked to use that time to study. thats why i have to do more today. but its ok i guess. also let christopher and daniel play with my electric guitar o.O lol.. (christopher is like 5yrs old and daniel is like.. 2?)but it wasnt plugged in lah.. but it can't be plugged in anyways cos its spoilt :(:(:( so gotta bring for repair after o-level. my bonnie lies over the ocean.. my bonnie lies over the sea.. yeah that's christopher's favourite song. he kept singing it while strumming the guitar xD. my bonnie lies over the ocean.. oh, bring back my bonnie to me.. bring back, oh, bring back, oh, bring back my bonnie to me, to me! bring back, oh, bring back, oh, bring back my bonnie to me! hahaha. i imagine it will sound quite cool to play it in a rock version :D a solo would be real cool too :D

Day THREE...

haha.. i dont really think i can do day-to-day posts on the o-levels. but whenever i've got a bit of free time i'll try to use the comp to post abt it.
today's chem paper was pretty tough i think. not tough as in tough tough. but tough as in easy tough. ask stupid questions which rack ur brain and ur thinking "am i answering it the way i'm supposed to be answering it?" altho it was probably harder than those given for the past few years. well.. can't do anything abt it now except trust in God and focus on geog.. which is tmr.
crap, the subject i'm most worried for is comb. humans and half of that will have to be dealt with tmr in the form of a 1.5hr geog paper which consists of 3 questions and a 50-mark weightage. haha. i say.. bring it on!!!
also.. i've just realised that after 4months this blog still does not have any links or a change of skin. well.. the skin stays, cos i like it.. unless i find a really good liverpool one haha.. and i'll try to put links up asap..

amaths is done and done! haha.. whew.. today's paper 2 was harder than yesterday's paper 1. but still managed to do it, albeit with a bit of uncertainty. but an A1 is quite possible. depending on how the other ppl taking it fare haha. well.. so now just gotta focus on tmr's chem paper..

Day ONE...

whoo!!! the o-levels have arrived! hahaha!
whew.. amaths paper 1 today. quite do-able i think. not sure if tmr's paper 2 will be harder. from today's questions i roughly know what's coming out in tmr's paper. yup.. hopefully if all goes well tmr (AND NO CARELESS MISTAKES ARE MADE!!!) then an A1 could be in the bag. so tonight gotta mug and revise!!! haha.. but i'm taking a break now before dinner.
wow.. i'm still suffering from the aftermath of saturday's merseyside derby. joe put it really well.. it was a NO-MERCY-SIDE derby. haha. for everton that is. lol.. today real funny.. when we were all in the canteen like a few min before the paper and everybody was revising amaths stuff, i suddenly started thinking abt the game again. LOL. can ask ryan. my arm was on his shoulder. haha. and i had to wake up and think "no football! just amaths!!" HAHA. i still get shivers when i think of dirk kuyt's second penalty and the liverpool players going to the fans to celebrate haha. heh until now i still always get shivers when i think back to the 2005 champions league final. and i always get shivers when i hear the liverpool fans singing "you'll never walk alone". haha.
okok!! no more football!! just amaths!! lol.. yup.. so after tmr, amaths will be over and i'll have to throw it outta my mind and focus on the other papers. but lets not go there now. still got amaths paper 2 tmr.

dun be surprised.. i'm always like this when it comes to everton games. seriously, i'm not even as hyper for man utd games. i can tell u as well, i'll probly be happy for this next week. until the arsenal game next sunday. hopefully i'll still be happy even after that;)
yup.. whew.. ok see cos my dad had some BB thing alright, so i would have been stuck at home for the game. but then he allowed me to go to joseph's house to watch it. provided i studied the whole day. which i did. haha. so went to stay over at joe's.
i was pretty loud i think. lol.. ok.. everton took a lucky lead in the first half but in the second half tony hibbert pulled gerrard down in the penalty box. that meant a red card for him and a penalty for us. which dirk kuyt dispatched pretty well:) 1-1!
then benitez took gerrard off and put on lucas leiva (an untested brazilian youngster). that was like.. what?? i dun even know how to explain it. but i think he might have made the right change.. u see.. in truth liverpool were looking a bit uncomfortable with the formation they were playing cos i'm not sure if gerrard was supposed to be playing right midfield or centre.. so the team looked uncomfortable with that formation. but usually u don't take off your scouser captain (esp if he's steven gerrard) in a merseyside derby. it's just not done that way. but i can't have much complaints.
lucas leiva came on and hit the stoppage time shot which was brilliantly saved by phil neville (an ex-man u player). ok see here.. phil neville is NOT a goalkeeper. lol.. but i wouldnt mind replacing paul robinson with him in the england team. HAHA.. so poor phil neville(who probly wanted a first team place in the england squad so much) got sent off. (that's everton down to 9 men) and dirk kuyt took a second penalty.
lemme tell u, to take a penalty in the 91st min in a merseyside derby is probly one of the scariest things on earth. but kuyt showed some composure to score with his second penalty. seriously man, that guy's got some strong nerves. if it was me i'd be shaking in my knees. and he dared to put it in the same place again.
well.. long story short.. the red half of merseyside went home happy:)
i'm keeping this short cos i gotta go do revision for amaths soon.
i'm pretty confident for it. somehow. haha. we'll see how tmr.

dang!! i got stung by a wasp!!!! seriously. cos it was in e-sean's room.. and the stupid daredevil that i am... i tried to catch it. lol! i took a plastic bag and wrapped it around my hand. then tried to get hold of it. then i caught it. and it was squirming in my hand.. then suddenly... YYYOOOOUUUCCCCHHHH!!! THE STUPID THING STUNG ME!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
ok.. then there was this big hole on my right pinky and blood was oozing out and it hurt like crap. then my dad killed the wasp by whacking it haha..
long story short, i can't write properly now. the finger is swollen and red too haha.. its not as pain now but its super itchy. crap... what a time to get stung on ur finger.. 3 days away from o-levels.. then can't do my practice papers properly.. dang..... sigh.. now when i start to study liao then can't haha.. ok maybe i can still do revision without writing. but i rather be writing and learning at the same time. not as boring and more effective haha.
and i'm typing now with my left hand and two fingers haha.
yup.. and the album "modern minds and pastimes" by the click five is super nice. almost all the songs are real nice. but my favourite is "mary jane". super nice song:) [note to cheang, renyi, YC, etc.. go listen to it. then we can jam it after o-levels or something haha.]

well.. i've been pretty slack the last 3 days..
did the amaths 2004 paper. got 78%.. but i think still not very good.. i'm aiming 85% and above for all the amaths papers i do now.
other than that i haven't done much.. will do more later.. today aim to finish 4 papers.. 2 in the afternoon, 2 at night.
also, i've decided to focus on just 6 subjects. leaving bio out. cos it's a study subject. lol. and i don't do studying. so aiming for As in english, both maths, and physics. then B3 for chem and humans. so once again its a 10-12 point score. provided both my maths get A1s. yup... that's a good goal i think.
hmm... nothing much to post abt now besides the stuff there is to post abt which shouldnt be posted abt. haha.
and i think this is like either the shortest or second shortest post in the history of this blog. lol.. wow..

the update

think i needa update again. to keep the blog alive. lol..
well.. i've just been doing tys papers thats all.. dunno if they'll be enough though.. so far been scoring 70% and above for the papers. although there are some below 70% but thats only a few papers and no lower than 64%. still not good enough to guarantee me As during the o's, cos i'm competing with all the other school people.. gd thing schools like R.I. are out of the equation lah haha. IP rocks! LOL.
think my english and physics can get As.. my two maths if i don't make any careless mistakes then should be able to get A1s.. but MUST NOT make careless mistakes!! means must check the paper many times after i finish. haha.. then my CHEM and combined humanities (geog & ss) think should be able to get B3s.. that would mean 10-12 for o's. minus 2 pts for NCC.. means nanyang should be able to get in.. but must mug alot these last few weeks!!!
and i think ek ping is really the one who save my amaths. haha!! THANK YOU!!!!! heck, she could be the one who just saved my entire o-levels. cos got one night we were msging and she made alot of sense with FOOTBALL. something abt setting goals and even if u dont reach ur goals u won't fall too far behind them. seriously thats the phrase thats been stuck in my head for two weeks lol.. here's the actual msg "bla.. bla.. bla.. ... set a target for yourself. no goal no results. you play soccer. you shld noe this well. set a higher goal, tell yourself you're working towards it and work hard to achieve it. even if at the end of the day, u dun get it, u wun fall too far behind your goal." (she didnt say "bla.. bla..bla.." i'm just typing the impt things down) haha.. wow.. imspired me like crap man! i mean, ek ping talking abt football is like.. wow! haha.. the only thing i remember her saying abt football is that the man utd players all look like prison break-outs. which i TOTALLY agree! haha.. i mean, players like rooney, ferdinand, vidic, evra, scholes, giggs, tevez, van der sar, etc.. LOL.. okok.. anws.. ya.. two weeks before o's is probly a good time to start working. so that i don't like.. lose momentum or anything. cos the maximum time i can study is two weeks. then i'll start to get sian and stop studying. haha.. thank you miss siau!! wahaha! i've actually been very careful not to talk abt football with her. cos she doesnt like it LOL.. and everytime i talk abt football with her i have to remind myself and stop. haha.. thats good i guess..
okok.. then yesterday we went to play badminton too. lol.. man, got trashed by david, jon and shaun. haha. badminton's not the game for me! let's talk football! haha. and i kinda trashed ek ping. haha.. the margin was not alot but i was giving her chance. haha! and we actually playing to 15. then become 20. then 25. then 30. but when i got 28 she dun want play liao.. cos she was tired.. lol.. and i trashed marie too. that one cannot give chance! cos we were betting on lollipops for her and a drink for me. so i won a drink!:) but marie is such a sore loser that she kept swinging her badminton racket at me while i was drinking so i couldnt drink it properly. whats up with that??
anws.. then we went to plaza sing for lunch. then walked to church to meet with the other sec4s to study... not sure if it was very productive.. haha....
then went to bugis food junction for dinner. joe met us there after his bball training. its pretty expensive there... yup, well, i reached home with some muscle aches. but thats expected since i havent done any exercise for dunno how long (bcos of the o's)

recap..

whew.. so many things to say, and so little time..
first of all.. i am OUT if maris stella!! hahaha! whoo!!!!!! no ppl, i am not expelled... like some of u may think.. i just graduated thats all.. haha!:) leavers' ceremony (the sad thing my school has to come up with cos we cant have a prom night due to lack of girls..) was on friday. had to go up and receive that graduation cylindrical baton thing (it was empty) and i think i might have forgotten to bow to mrs tey.. haha.. then class chairman had to give flowers to our form teacher. so had to give mrs tey some fake sunflower bouquet.. then i just passed it to her and walked off the stage. lol.. think i was sposed to wait for her to walk off first. haha.. nvm.. then had some performances.. mrs loh sang while mr kwok played the guitar. and mr (handsome) chew sang too o.O haha.... it was really hot and stuffy in the hall.. somemore had to wear tie! sweat like a pig man! haha. thats what uncle alvin used to say. besides u stink (sting) like a bee! lol.. but the dinner was pretty good. i put food on my plate til it looked like bukit timah hill, and finished it up. i was real hungry anws. and a quote from terence as "wow, i-zack, u really know how to fill a plate!" haha.

last days with CRYSIz were fun too. we also took photos with the fire extinguisher outside of class. naturally i perceived it to be some football championship trophy and if u go to the CRYSIz blog or ryan's blog, u'd see me beaming like i'd just won the champions league with liverpool. lol. we also had oreo cheesecake (made by sze jet) super solid!!!! seriously it was fantastic man.. and got autographs of everyone in class.

well.. i'm starting to do more work too. which can only bode well.. gotta pia this last 2 weeks. do tys and the lot. ek ping also tutored me after church yesterday. made ALOT of progress with Amaths. (trigo, differentiation, etc..) then just now did the TYS paper could do like all those questions from the topics she taught me yesterday:) we actually stayed back until 7pm! cos she just teaching me until we forgot the time. then suddenly see it was 6.40pm! haha.. thanks miss siau! LOL. oh ya... thank you to marie toh for coming and breaking my concentration with her wu liao stuff..-.- seriously.. not i want to say u or what.. but i think i could have learnt somemore if u had just shut up! HAHA. no offence, LOL. nvm... at least made a good lot of progress!:)

well.. the bad news among all these good ones is that liverpool are still in a bad slump of form. while man utd and arsenal are getting away with it.. i dont even want to talk abt chelsea cos i dont see them as a threat to our title challenge for the season. dang.. ok, at least last week got a good 1-0 away win at wigan. but lost to marseille 1-0 in midweek in the champions league. and it was supposedly one of the worst displays at anfield in benitez's time here. that one i not really so anxious abt lah.. but yesterday drew 2-2 with tottenham... at anfield again.. sigh.. somemore needed a last min header from torres to equalize.. ok at least got some good points lah- we were playing better. though could have done much more upfront.. torres is proving to be a very good signing and he's turning out to be a big-game player for us. but the defence was at fault for the 2 goals lah.. somemore its tottenham leh!! muz trash this kinda noob teams one. wa lao.. lol.. but seriously, with the form spurs are in we should be whacking them upside-down.. somemore got one paul robinson in goal.. we should just whack long shots at him and put in some crosses for him to drop.. lol.. nvm lah.. have to get our act together soon.
and i gotta study now!!! whoo!! gogogo!!!
