okok.. gotta calm down... haha.. whew...
dun be surprised.. i'm always like this when it comes to everton games. seriously, i'm not even as hyper for man utd games. i can tell u as well, i'll probly be happy for this next week. until the arsenal game next sunday. hopefully i'll still be happy even after that;)
yup.. whew.. ok see cos my dad had some BB thing alright, so i would have been stuck at home for the game. but then he allowed me to go to joseph's house to watch it. provided i studied the whole day. which i did. haha. so went to stay over at joe's.
i was pretty loud i think. lol.. ok.. everton took a lucky lead in the first half but in the second half tony hibbert pulled gerrard down in the penalty box. that meant a red card for him and a penalty for us. which dirk kuyt dispatched pretty well:) 1-1!
then benitez took gerrard off and put on lucas leiva (an untested brazilian youngster). that was like.. what?? i dun even know how to explain it. but i think he might have made the right change.. u see.. in truth liverpool were looking a bit uncomfortable with the formation they were playing cos i'm not sure if gerrard was supposed to be playing right midfield or centre.. so the team looked uncomfortable with that formation. but usually u don't take off your scouser captain (esp if he's steven gerrard) in a merseyside derby. it's just not done that way. but i can't have much complaints.
lucas leiva came on and hit the stoppage time shot which was brilliantly saved by phil neville (an ex-man u player). ok see here.. phil neville is NOT a goalkeeper. lol.. but i wouldnt mind replacing paul robinson with him in the england team. HAHA.. so poor phil neville(who probly wanted a first team place in the england squad so much) got sent off. (that's everton down to 9 men) and dirk kuyt took a second penalty.
lemme tell u, to take a penalty in the 91st min in a merseyside derby is probly one of the scariest things on earth. but kuyt showed some composure to score with his second penalty. seriously man, that guy's got some strong nerves. if it was me i'd be shaking in my knees. and he dared to put it in the same place again.
well.. long story short.. the red half of merseyside went home happy:)
i'm keeping this short cos i gotta go do revision for amaths soon.
i'm pretty confident for it. somehow. haha. we'll see how tmr.

man i'm super happy man haha.. can't believe it.. to win a merseyside derby against everton is somewhat bigger than a win against man utd. but ah well.. u have to understand football to understand this. at times u even have to understand liverpool to understand this. just know that a win against everton makes u do crazy stuff. like scolding the tv at ur best bud's house. heh. what i heard from my mum was my dad was as passionate at home as i was at joe's place (when he came back from his BB thing to watch the 2nd half). lol. but we're like that. and hugging joe when kuyt scored the second penalty and at full-time too. lol. that's kinda funny. but its normal i guess. when ur allegiance lies with the red half of merseyside..
