(not) holiday

well.. haven't had much time to rest after church camp.
the day we came back and the day after had to start planning for youth sunday, camp sharing, etc..
on 12june we went to toa payoh swensen's to celebrate michelle goh's birthday:) i had the fish-baked rice which is super nice, and the banana crumble (it rocks!!) then we walked quite a bit and took lotsa photos:/ not my thing, but oh well. haha. i like the phone booth one.
on 13 june (friday) went back to maris stella with crysi-z to collect o-level certs and testimonies. i think my testimony is quite good but it should be much more impressive. i'm quite disappointed with whoever wrote it haha! few more lines of good stuff wouldn't have hurt. but ok lah, it's actually not bad.
on sunday after church we went for lunch then went to plaza sing and played hide&seek cos we were super bored. haha! i went to hide in carrefour and survived:) half of the rest got caught. kinda stupid, considering how big PS is. cos they hid at lousy places like the bookstore haha!
this week stayed at home to study. i've done quite a bit for maths, some for physics, and only a bit for econs. but i'm gonna focus on econs the next few days til the paper on monday. then focus on maths again til the paper on wednesday, then focus on physics til the paper on friday. i'm not really gonna study much for chinese cos it can't really be studied. (chinese on thursday)
well, so my holiday has been the worst ever so far. haha.. worse than nov-dec hols 2006 when i had to study for retests to make sure i didn't have to drop any subject. (i didn't go for the retests in the end in a calculated move to make sure i really didn't have to drop haha!)
oh on tuesday went with dad, mum, e-sean and e-rae to novena square and we ordered the PLH shirts:) they should be delivered to church by next friday. then we ate at fish&co. the fish and chips are good! long time since i've had fish and chips haha.
on wednesday watched game6 of this year's NBA finals. boston beat lakers 131-92. O.o to clinch the series 4-2 :) wow. paul pierce, kevin garnett and ray allen were superb. and KG even cried at the post-match interview. i think it was something really special, cos it's the celtics 1st title in 22 years. and they're the most successful team in NBA franchise history with 17 titles. (lakers 14, bulls 6, san antonio 4) kinda like when liverpool won the champions league in 2005. it was really like WOW. and i have a knack of not watching the whole NBA season until the title clincher. haha. every year i just have to watch one match and that's the match that the title is decided. oh ya i was supporting the celtics cos san antonio were knocked out by the lakers, and i've never really liked the lakers anyway. even though they are quite good. now boston celtics are my 3rd favourite team after san antonio and chicago bulls haha!
then also saw that "bubble boy" was showing on some other channel so watched it. it's so funny! hahaha. i think i wanna get the CD. i think it's quite romantic too.
then went to school to study physics.
yesterday had maths tuition. i think it was quite useful. but i'm still not confident for any of my papers. (as usual)
then today just stayed at home the whole day. some people who i don't know are coming over for dinner i think.
i'm stuck at home til next friday when my exams are over. then i'll play abit. then i think i'll start studying. i just realised if i don't study hard my a-levels gonna die cos now the mid-years already like so tough, according to my maths tutor, a-levels will be 4 times as tough as this. heh. i say that i'll start studying, but it remains to be seen if i really DO study. everytime during the year have no motivation til JUST before an exam. haha.
yeah well.. that's all for now.
i think i need to update more if not the blog will be dead. i think i will update with some lyrics of songs next time just like joe. heh, don't mind if i borrow the idea dude..
