Chapter 4
Doctor Doggy Doomlittle made the final adjustments to his Doominator. It was big. It was scary. It had a waistline the size of Russia. Its doggy head had built-in voice transmissions which would make snide comments at whoever it terrorized.
“Ah, yes! The Doominator! My greatest invention yet! It will destroy anything with its rude remarks, blaster cannons and it is indestructible! The only way it can be stopped is by using the Eye of the Stone which has been lost for a hundred years! Nothing will stand in my way!”
“Great plan, boss! You’re a genius!”
“Shut up, Pinky! I don’t want you to interrupt my triumphant speeches that are meant to annoy people ever again!”
“Sorry, boss!”

“Thanks for letting us in.” Barney said.
“It’s no problem. We welcome visitors to our humble home anytime.” said Mama Bear.
Our six heroes were in the house of the three bears, Papa, Mama and Baby Bear. Eyesland was cold throughout the year. The fire in the furnace was cackling in the soft still night.
“So, can you take us to see…her?” asked Wally.
“Aye, that’d be why you’re here, ain’t it?” replied Papa Bear.
“I have a bad feeling about this… I feel a disturbance in the Force.” said Tubby.
Papa Bear had been a sailor out at sea in his younger years and so he always enjoyed telling scary tales to wandering travelers, just to freak them out.
“Argh, back in the old days when I was part of the crew that sailed the Dying Fudgeman, Goldilocks was a normal lassie, with bright golden hair that glistened in the sun. She was to be wed to the captain of the ship, Captain Lazy Stones! Never did like working much, Captain Stones, just lazed in his cabin all day long. One day, Goldilocks got cursed by an evil sea witch… she would age at a frightful rate, but she would never die. And Captain Stones was too lazy to find the way to lift the curse. She dumped him, of course. He’s dead now. Dear old Captain Stones…”
Papa Bear took in a deep breath and a tear trickled down his furry face. A long awkward silence filled the room.
“So… what about Goldilocks now?” asked Cooty.
“Aye, after she dumped him, Captain Stones made her walk the plank, see. Never saw her again until ten years later, after I had stopped sailing the briny blue and was back here. One fine day, while waiting for our porridge to cool, we took a walk and when we came back, we found her sleeping on Baby Bear’s bed.”
“She scares me, Papa!” wailed Baby Bear.
“Argh, keep your whining to yourself! … So we let her stay in said cozy house. She’s on the top floor, first room on the right, waiting for true love and true love’s first kiss. Bah!” Papa Bear let out a hearty guffaw. Apparently, he did not believe in that kind of stuff that only happens in fairy tales.
“Let’s pay her a visit then.” said Barney.

Chapter 5
Locks of grey hair hanged from Goldilocks’ head (that was why sometimes she was referred to as Greydilocks). She looked at them with bloodshot eyes (she had been crying), struggled to memorize the way it felt to have enormous thighs (she had slimmed down a lot since her depression of becoming old had made her lose her appetite) and the pressure that made her cry (she had once been tipped to win the Eyesland Beauty Pageant hands down before she was cursed).
To cut a long story short, she told them how to get to Mathagascar, the next stop on their journey.
“Your real adventure starts here,” she told them. “On the way to Mathagascar, you will face many dangers and maybe even booby traps! From now till you find the Eye of the Stone, some of you will die… There is an even greater evil brewing, one that only the Eye of the Stone can stop…”
“Abiliabliablibaabli… you didn't say that some of us would die, Nutty!” squealed Porky.
“Hmm… Sorry, mate. Must have slipped me tongue.” replied Nutty.
“Well, we can’t stop now,” Barney interjected. “We have to stop this evil thing!”
“I agree. May the Force be with us all...” said Tubby.
It was their lives. It was now or never. They were not going to live forever. They just wanted to live their lives alive. It was their lives…

The Doominator destroyed everything in its path. People ran around screaming for help.
“Take that, short stuff!” The Doominator said to the short man it had just blasted.
“Yes! Feel my evil fury!” Doctor Doomlittle laughed. “I’m coming out so you better get this party started!”

Chapter 6
“There’s too many of them!”
Barney and Friends were surrounded by a pack of Munchkins, trapped with nowhere to go. The little critters snarled and bared their teeth as they knew the kill was near. It looked like the end for our heroes. But the story is only six chapters long now, so to let them die just like that would be a real let-down. And the writer of this story does not like to disappoint his readers… So…
Suddenly, a bright light shone from above and a phantom appeared in front of them.
“Barney and Friends, be thankful for the writer’s creative imagination, for you will receive special powers to aid you in your quest! Barney, you will be given wings and fire breath. Nutty, you will have super speed, agility and a nut blaster. Porky, you will be given the ability of a marksman and a machine gun with unlimited bullets. Tubby, you will receive a lightsaber. Cooty, super strength! And Wally, you will be able to stretch your body as long as... er… whatever that is really long but I can’t think of anything now as my vocabulary is limited. Good luck!”
And with that, the phantom disappeared with a flash.
Now, with their ultra super powers, Barney, Nutty and Friends have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil!
Barney flew up into the sky and blasted some Munchkins with his fire breath.
When he was a young dinosaur, his father took him into the city to see a marching band. He said, "Son, when you grow up, would you be the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damned? Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non-believers, the plans that they have made? Because one day I'll leave you a phantom to lead you in the summer to join the Black Parade."
Sometimes Barney had the feeling she was watching over him, and other times he felt like he should go, but through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets, and when we are gone he will want us all to know he will carry on.
Soon, the Munchkins and our friends were locked in a battle of epic proportions. Suddenly, one of the Munchkins took a swipe at Wally’s face. Wally was down, and all the Munchkins jumped on him and bit him with their teeth.
“No, Wally!”
With his power of the Force, Tubby threw the Munchkins off Wally and sliced them with his lightsaber. Barney burned the rest with his fire breath and Porky blasted them with his machine guns. The Munchkins were defeated, but it was already too late…
“Wally, speak to me!” Nutty pleaded. Wally looked up and with his final breath, he spoke these famous last words…
“I am not afraid to keep believing, I am not afraid to walk this world alone. Honey, if you stay I'll be forgiven, nothing you can say can stop me going home...”
They had lost a friend, a comrade, but in this farewell, there was no blood, there was no alibi, because they had drawn regret from the truth of a thousand lies. So let mercy come and wash away what they had done. They will face themselves to cross out what they had become, erase themselves to let go of what they had done…
And they will, they will rock you…
