welcome back captain zack!

ok internet connection in my house is back. i tell you, my house is breaking down.alot of things are not working anymore. like the air-con for example.
anws, it's time to post abt my trip to malaysia. i can't really remember all the details but here goes..
1st day we drove up pretty early.. woke up to find we reached some place for breakfast. that's when i realised the Chans were there already. so ate together. then continued on to KL and checked into our hotel. the firstday was just shopping. i didn't get anything except a liverpool mini-football. cos my old one is punctured. there was some toast thing if i rmb correctly and the 4 of us (joe, jeremy, jordan and i) were raving over it and devouring them. then we walked around but was mostly only interested in the soccer boots (as always). i watched "Blades of Glory" on joe's Zen too. haha. quite a funny show. but like joe and i said, these are the kind of shows you can only watch with ur male buddies. no elaboration needed.
2nd day was just more shopping. san antonio beat houston rockets too. (in your face joe haha) and we watched "Constantine" before dinner. it's quite a load of crap but makes for good entertainment. had KFC for dinner which was yummy. i'm getting hungry now.. and joe had this thing of taking a picture together every night. which was a great idea! just that after the first 3 nights my phone ran out of batt and i didn't bring my charger.
3rd day (Sunday) we went some place for church. too many lights in my opinion. made it look like a concert.very little reading of God's word too. like no responsive or scripture reading. other than that i think it was ok. the preacher was a liverpool fan too. so good on ya mate! most of the day was spent driving up to Cameron Highlands. had steamboat at some restaurant for dinner too. we also had expected much colder weather n Cameron Highlands so was kinda disappointed to find that it wasn't very cold. think it was only like 20degreesC. so after the steamboat dinner the 4 guys and my sis went outside while the adults were still talking. joe and jer were playing "zah!" (that pri sch finger game) but with added spice. (they posed everytime they made an attack. lol) and jordan and i were complaining how hot it was, so he took off his shirt. mine was only half off. like.. i was still holding it in my arms.. er.. nevermind. crazy things u do when the heat gets to ur head. hahaha. joe and i slept outside on the "couches". there were actually wooden benches. and after some complications we remembered to take the nightly photo. also cos it was pretty late it was kinda hard to take it in the dark. haha. in the end i turned on the lights and used the handphone timer to take the pic. think we talked til pretty late too so next day got a bit sick.
4th day: i couldnt wake up that morning so evryone wentto some cactus place without me. there was also some typing test thing on uncle peter's laptop so everyone was trying it. i think i got 50 words per min. joe had like 76, dad 52, e-sean 35. High School Musical 2 was showing on Disney Channel too. so while the kids watched it i opted to watch videos and listen to music on Joe's Zen. sorry dude, ipod out of batt. after watching high school musical 1, i didn't bother to find out what happened in the second one. all i know was it was summer time. which occurs everyday in spore anws haha. talked with joe on our benches til pretty late too. think almost 4am..
5th day: woke up feeling sick that day. good thing most of the day was just spent driving to malacca. so didnt miss too much. we celebrated aunty hui lan's birthday that night in the hotel that we stayed in for 2006 church camp. joe and i kinda rmb it as the camp we were both in youth comm. and where we played football and he got stabbed by a large stick in the ground. ouch..
on the last day woke up sick again. joe helped me buy a simple plan album when they went out to shop in the morning. anws.. after we checked out, it was just driving all the way back home.

heh. well, not as eventful as the one to auzzie last year but a trip with ur best bud can never really go bad right? this one may have even been more meaningful in some ways. oh well.. the days after the trip have been good i guess..
i've listened to the simple plan album. was so inspired the morning that we reached home from the trip that i went to repair my electric guitar and went to jam at cheang's house with YC and renyi. jeremy got 253 for his PSLE too, good on ya u little tyke! guess his hard work really paid off.
on saturday went to play soccer at joe's too. was kinda rusty. 1st touch wasn't there. still managed to grab quite a few though. altho the kids packed the court so was kinda hard to find any space. joe brought two of his friends to come play too. anws we were pretty late for band prac but still managed to finish quite fast. liverpool beat newcastle 3-0 too. to tell the truth i am pretty disappointed. considering the way we controlled the game we could have had at least 10 goals. like the commentator said, that was the most one-sided premiership game he had ever seen.. good news is bolton beat man utd 1-0. and ferguson got sent off:) finally a referee with some sense. hahaha. and arsenal beat wigan 2-0.. they were lucky they were playing at home and against a weak side (no offence to wigan). if not i think they would have dropped at least 2 points.
anws.. church on sunday was good. yiying and hannah led worship and david, jon and ruby backed-up. good to be back playing for the band. though i think i was abit rusty. especially with my strumming. good think joe was on drums so the telepathy helped. dad took me class too. haha. no surprise to find everyone quieter than usual. though i think it helped to keep the class really under control. haha. went to subway for lunch and later jammed at the jamming studio beside subway. marie came too lol. and i must say her drums have really improved! after a good two hours came home with e-sean. then we went to grandma's house for her birthday. watched "Batman Begins" there. quite an inspiring show too. i hope they come up with a sequel. and they should lah. the last part there was something about the joker. (hahahahahhahahaa)
hmm.. nothing much to do now..
